Educators and schools systems are coming under tremendous heat for so-called inadequacies in teaching methods, with what seems to be a generation of children where many are slow-learners and slow-readers.

Health authorities are becoming more and more concerned about the health of the non-achievers and how it affects averages, medians and comparative abilities in these children.  With other things being equal, there is no doubt that a healthy child learns more easily than the child with health problems.

For this reason, regular physical checkups have become an important aspect of the hoe/school regimen.  Of course, it is up to parents to explore the possibilities of a health problem, to identify it, and to undertake treatment if necessary.

Doctors of chiropractic are well-equipped and trained to provide such checkups for children and every member of the family.  They are also skilled in the correction of deviations that cause problems.  In many instances, if it is detected early, the problem may not be difficult to correct.

Teachers and coaches need the support and cooperation of parents in providing the best possible conditions for good learning.  It is important that any physical corrections be made before poor learning habits and low academic achievement become a “way of life” for the student.

For even younger members of your family, chiropractic adjustments begun in infancy can be effective in keeping the spine mobile and healthy.  Since children’s bodies are more supple, they usually hold their adjustments better than adults.  Adjustments of children require much less force than is needed for an adult.  Without adjustments, the young body can adapt to misalignment that could lead to poor posture, scoliosis and other structural discomfort.

All of these possibilities suggest the advisability of a chiropractic examination now as a preventative measure.  If not now, it should by all means be done when the first signs of health disturbances begin to appear.

Give your children the advantages of good health and learning through regular chiropractic care.
